"Alright, so when beginning, take a look at your yarn and you can see that this states it needs a five millimeter hook. So let's see. Here's a five millimeter hook right here. This is a guide. You don't necessarily need the exact hook for the exact yarn, but it will make it a much easier process. Okay. So there are several ways to hold a crochet needle. One way to hold it is like a pencil and you tend to hold it in your right hand and hold the yarn in your left. So the first way to hold the hook is like a pencil. The second way to hold the hook is like a knife. This is the technique that I will be using."
