"Today, we're changing a rear latch on a 96 Ford Explorer. In this step, I'm going to demonstrate the proper service procedure for removing your vent assembly. Now this particular vehicle, just due to the size of it, it's a compact SUV, has a vent here in the back. Now the latch we're working on is right here. This is the guy, and it has some connectors in the back of it that we need to gain access to, through the hole that's going to be created by removing this vent. I'm going to use my five- way and pop the Christmas trees out of it. There's one, two down, two to go, and for the last one, you can see what they look like right here. All this little frilly stuff pushes up inside the body panel and that's what holds it on. And there you go. That is the proper service procedure for removing your vent assembly."
