"Hello, my name is Jeff Fiffie. I'll be showing you how to perform basic field maintenance on your car. It's somewhat like a rubber balloon. The air will eventually escape if it's not replenished. Shown here is how you could check the tire pressure. Press it onto the stem. This particular tire shows forty psi, which is right in guidelines with the manufacturer, which states forty-one psi. So this tire pressure is correct. Another fact about the tire is, the tire will lose pressure--one psi every month. This means that if the air isn't added for up to two to three months, the tire inflation will lose probably two to three psi. An under-inflated tire can't maintain its shape and comes flat."
