"Next, we're going to gain access to the distributor. So, on this vehicle we will take off these air intake hoses. First we unscrew this little hose clamp. Oops. So we're going to just loosen this clamp, and we're going to loosen this clamp right here. O.k., those were already a little loose. So, then we pull off this hose and we pull off this hose and we're just going to get these out of the way a little. And now, you can more easily see the distributor cap. O.k., now if you look at the end of my screwdriver, you can see these clips and so what you do, this clip holds the distributor cap onto the distributor. You're going to just stick a screwdriver underneath that clip and then twist it and that clip will come off. And then there's one on this side and one on this side. Now you'll notice, there's this little boss on the side here which shows you how to line it up hen you put the distributor cap on. So, now you can lift off the distributor cap and you can see this one's not too bad but, often times, you'll see there's wear in here and there will be cracks because these really do crack. And then to take to rotor off you basically just pull it straight up. Now this rotor looks like its got some miles on it. So, this is pretty cheap and this really is something you really can replace yourself."
