"Hi, this is Gerard Mainardi. Today we're talking about how to organize your personal documents on Windows XP. Remember Windows XP is copyright through Microsoft Corporation and I am in no way affiliated with the Microsoft Corporation. Now so far we've talked about moving things off of your desktop now, we've talked about finding things by the dates that they're labeled with. Now why don't we just talk about how to find something just by looking through by playing everything? Now here on your desktop you can see, as usual, go up to "Start". Go to "My Documents" we can open that on up. Now let's see, let?s say we have some pictures that we don't know what's in them. Go down to "My Pictures". Let's say I don't know what's in. What all these are in the work behind the scenes folder. Let's say I don't even feel like looking through all of those names because there's too many. Well, just click on the folder. Over here you have some common tasks that you'll see for everything. These appear in every different folder that you have any common tasks for the file types in that folder. It would play everything from music. You can view a slide show for pictures, as you can see. Click on "view as slide show". Now here's a slide show of all the different pictures that we have and using these controls up in the top right, you can easily scroll through. See something I was doing here. And there you see me working with the green screen. And close this. The same thing works when you're using your music. Let's have a look through our Music cue and we can pull up to listen to everything, that way it makes it easier for us to know what's in it and categorize it. Go here. Go to "My Music". For instance, let's take this folder here labeled "Skull". Click on that. Over here you'll see you common music tasks just like you saw your common picture tasks. Hit "play selection". This will open up the player of your choice. For me I use Windows Media Player here. Now here's everything. Now the first track starts playing. You can skip through all your tracks; see exactly what's in them. This works with any media type that you, be it video, pictures, music. It's an easy way to go through, find out exactly what's in each folder."
