"Hi, this is Gerard Mainardi. Today we're talking about how to organize your My Documents folder in Windows XP. Remember Windows XP is a trademark of the Microsoft Corporation, and I do not work for the Microsoft Corporation. Now we've already talked about a bunch of different things, including different ways to view your files, My Music and My Pictures. Now lets take a look at My Videos, for those of you who have a lot of videos. Now the first thing you'll notice here is, most people (I'm sure you included) do not have as many videos as you would have pictures and MP3s, so you're going to have a lot smaller of a folder. The only thing that might be really helpful here is to have a 'various' folder. If you, like me, tend to get a lot of things from people at work (just funny things that you download that you want to save), it might be really helpful to have a 'various' folder, where things can't be easily categorized. Otherwise, it's good to keep things tightly regimented just like with all your other folders. So for instance--lets have a look here--we want to make a new folder for, say, some stuff we got from work. Just like with anything else, you right click, go to new, folder, type in the new name. We call this 'work stuff'. There you go. You now have an entirely new folder to store all your work things in. Like with everything else, do not be afraid to over-regiment. Because honestly, when it comes time to back things up, or when it comes time to find something quickly, you're really going to regret it if you have your things muddled all over the place."
