"What we're going to do here is I'm going to explain the hand held. The hand held is the device you use in your hand when you're doing the bow drill. And it's really important. You have to actually find a piece of wood that really makes, that fits your hand comfortable. You can see the thickness, about an inch. This piece I always use, it has a kind of a nice notch in it. And it's comfortable. I have a lot of friends who use stone. They find these really nice stones that have a natural grip to it, you can see that the way it's easily grippable. And you can see how it fits in here really nice. But what we're going to do today is we're going to stick with my cedar hand held. I can cut it right off the sycamore, cut it you know use your axe, cut it about an inch thick. Any time you use anything metal, use wood to tap it in. You see that? And the reason why, it damages the tool. So you use this oak, and you tap down, and you create, slice this piece down until you actually cut it down and you find the piece that is most comfortable. And you cut it both sides and there you go. I've had this for a couple of years, and it's very, you can see the way it fits in my thumb. This is what you want to have, something that's very comfortable. The hand held."
