So again, check in, make sure baby's doing okay. Your warm hands are right on the tummy, and we're going to go ahead, if baby's ready, we're going to go ahead and do a circling motion, making sure that we're going in a clockwise motion. Take your hands from resting on the tummy, glide them down to baby's sides, all the way down to their heels, to their ankles. Supporting their legs, gently lift them slightly, bending the knees a little bit, and we're going to go ahead. You're pressing into the tummy, so we're getting a little bit of that contact from the knees or the legs or the upper thighs into the tummy, giving a little bit of a press as we circle. Okay, we're circling six times. So that was two, and here we go with three... four... five... six. And bring it round the sixth time, come down nice and slow. Help shake baby's legs out, go ahead and do a nice long gentle stroke, a soothing stroke. Hit three times, three times, helping baby to recognize their legs are back where they started. And bringing your hands then right back up to center to baby's tummy, and resting our hands, checking in. It's a good time throughout this massage to talk to baby, check in, maybe you're playing some music to help soothe you both, maybe you're singing a little song, telling a little story. Even just having a conversation during the massage can be very soothing for baby. So once you check in, then you can get ready to move on to the next stroke.
