"There are many reasons why babies cry. Crying is one of their few ways they have of communicating with us before they have acquired verbal language that we understand. So it's important that first of all when a baby is crying you pay attention and communicate to the baby that your listing to them. That you understand somethings going on and your going to try to respond appropriately to meet their needs. This will of course hopefully help your baby stop crying but there a lots of reasons why babies cry. They may be hot they may be cold. They could be uncomfortable they might be bored. There might be too much stimulation. There's lots of reasons why babies cry but it's very important that we do try to take a moment. To figure out what it is their trying to say. What is it that their trying to communicate to us and how can we respond. To them to help meet their needs. So hopefully your baby will feel heard and not need to cry to feel heard. That their crying will result in some type of response for you. So today we're going to look at some different things you might try if your baby is crying. To help to sooth your baby your crying baby."
