"All right, what we're going to do now that we have our basic wrap of our round bead is we're going to add more glass to it to give it more volume. So you're going to, again, make sure your glass is heated up to that honey-like consistency, and add, as even as possibly, rings around the outside. I have a little less on this side than I wanted so I'm trying to even it out. And what I'm going to do is keep the bead in the flame, not the mandrel, you want to make sure that only the rings of glass that you just applied heat, that are in the flame. If you actually keep your mandrel in the flame too long you can melt the mandrel in half. So as you can see, that glass I just added is condensing itself into the previous bead that was there, and it's starting to get a round shape, kind of more like a donut shape. We've got it even on a couple sides, and right there is your basic round bead. Now remember, you can continue to add glass as much as you want to make it the size that you want it to be."
