"All right. We're going to do a diagonal extension stretch, here. It's a bit of an advanced movement or an advanced version of something you may already do in your Pilates class. Getting into your spine, make sure your spine is straight and you have that walnut in the back, which means you're just squeezing the lower glutials. Long spine. You're going to take your arm and your leg and stretch in opposite directions, not going for height, but length. One hand is supporting, is under the shoulder. Your knee is under the hip. You're going to stretch as much as you can, and pull the arm in towards the knee at the same time. There's your in. And then you're going to stretch. Here comes your diagonal. You're going to go diagonal and stretch. So it's a regular in, extend reach, and a slight diagonal for your arm and your leg at the same time. Diagonal and stretch. Your timing for the whole movement would be in, reach, diagonal, reach; in, reach, diagonal, and reach. Make sure when you're going on the diagonal, you're not 45 degrees. It's just a small diagonal, before you return to your reach. And that's how you do your diagonal extension reach from all fours."
