"So now we're going to apply the inside glaze to my jar. One thing you do need to do is make sure you rinse it off with clean water so that the dust settled from sanding it previously before the firing isn't in there. If it is sitting in there your glaze won?t get to that surface. That's key. So we're going to do three layers of this glaze. That's the best way to do it. I'm putting it on fairly heavy. That is what you don't want. So always have a sponge handy. Just clean that up because I don't want any glaze on the lip surface here so the lid won?t attach. Actually it will attack to the glaze and you don't want that. So liberally putting it on pretty thick and usually I'll wait in between each layer for it to dry and then apply the second and third coat. So I'll just keep doing that until I get the three layers and the interior will be ready to dry."
