Hi. I'm JK Dooley and we're talking a little bit about stretching canvas, and as you can see this piece is almost done and you can certainly leave it like this with the white along the sides, or you can finish it off, and I prefer to finish it off a bit and the products that I use, basically I will match this color. I may match it to a color that's actually in the piece itself, but typically I'll choose black or a neutral color because it looks pretty nice on the piece, and I will use just a basic acrylic paint and instead of a brush, because I learned the hard way a brush can make it kind of difficult to do, I found these little paint rollers so that's something you might want to go out and look for and they actually work really, really well just to roll the paint right along the edges like that and it's a lot faster than a brush as well. So that's a little tip on painting in the edges, and then this is a glaze that I use for it, a gel, and again very inexpensive paint brush for that as well. The only thing you need to watch out when you're putting this gel on is if any bristles from the brush end up in there make sure you get those out. So just a little tip on finishing the edges if you'd like to do that, and also on applying some gel on the surface.
