"Now in your message, if you want to develop a good relationship with your audience it is essential that you are positive. Every cloud has a silver lining, every dark cloud. Focus on the silver lining, not the dark cloud. Focus on what will be, rather than what won't be. If you want to establish a good relationship it's very important that you're positive so that your audience can see the good, your audience can...maybe you're talking about a bad situation, maybe you're presenting a speech about something very horrible or very horrible to you, maybe child abduction or it could even be slaughter houses, or whatever it is, that's very negative information, but let's focus on the positive. The positive could be what you, the audience, can do to make a difference. "This is a bad situation, but let's take a look at what, let's focus on what can be done, let's focus on what can make it better." So don't give a speech focusing on the negatives, that will bring your audience down. Keep it in the positive."
