Hi. I'm JK Dooley. I'm a professional artist and now we're going to get down to the really important stuff and how much is all this going to cost? The giclee process initially is not inexpensive, but the charm of the whole process is once you've made your investment and had the product photographed and scanned and worked into Photoshop and the image manipulated and cleaned up the way you need it done, and had it printed, then your only cost from that point on is your print and you can actually purchase the prints as other people purchase them. So that's the nice part about this. So yes there are some costs involved. Canvas is typically more expensive than paper and what you need to look for typically when you're having these items priced is a lot of people will price by square inch and I've seen anywhere from 10 cents a square inch up to 25 cents a square inch. So you do need to shop around. You do need to, more expensive does not necessarily mean better and obviously cheaper doesn't mean bad. So you definitely want to shop around, go online, do some research, talk to your neighborhood printers and photographers and make sure that you're getting a good deal and some good quality products.
