"So when I went looking for a piece of furniture to put here to add counter and storage space, I actually didn't have to look very far because I actually already had this piece of furniture. I was using it for a completely different purpose in my other apartment. I was using it in my bedroom as part of my desk. So, so part of finding things to help you organize a space is really looking at what you have and trying to think creatively about how you can use something. Because things will, can have multiple uses, even though it says on the box that it should be used in your closet. So anyway, I had this piece of furniture and the, the width of the bottom part was perfect. It was just under eighteen inches. It was, it was like seventeen and three quarter inches. So I knew that would fit in there, but the top, once you add this top on, that was nineteen inches. So, so what I did to, to remedy that problem was I added some, some, some padding on the underneath each wheel. I added some of these, some of these little stoppers that they have for, so things don't roll and then I added padding under the stoppers. And that little bit of extra height raised this enough so that it actually comes above the stove and I'm able to have this space for cutting and for counter space when I'm cooking at the stove and for the storage that the, that these drawers create."
