"So, once you decide what you want to put in each place then you're going to need to measure it and to measure it, measure the space, I need a tape measure and so I decided that in this space right here, I'm going to put counter space because there's absolutely not counter space over here and that's something that I'll know that I'll need when I'm cooking and using the stove. And I think that putting something with counter space right here also will create storage space underneath that counter space. So, I'll be maximizing the counter space and the storage space at the same time. So, the first I need to do is I need to measure the space which any time you?re adding something that's something you'll need to do. So, the most important thing you'll need to remember when you are measuring a space to add something is to find the absolute inside edges. So, right here I might be tempted to might be tempted to measure from the window right here but if I look down then there's this window seal. So, that's actually my inside edge and I wont to measure from the window seal to the side of the stove which is just a eighteen inches. So, just to give myself some play room and make sure whatever I choose for here fits, I'm going to subtract about a half an inch just to give myself some safety room and again I chose to put counter space here because there's nothing over here that serves that purpose and I think it's a better use of space than putting something here like a trash can that can go many other places in the kitchen and not waste a valuable space."
