"Our folkloric version of the Egyptian Walk adds a little bit of the twist and a little bit of the up and down with the hip. So we're going to step on the right foot, bring the left foot forward this time. And plant the ball of the foot firmly on the floor. Bend both knees. And now the hip is going to do both the twist and the lift. So it's going to aim up, corners up on a diagonal up to the upper corner and then drop back down. Step feet back together, right foot comes forward, plant that ball of your foot up to the corner and drop down. Now notice I'm not doing a level change with this. So keep your level the same. Good. Make sure it's not just a straight up and down, that you're adding both the twist and the lift. Step, lift, step, arms out away from the body, step, lift, step and lift. Good. Plant that toe, keep the knees bent. Don't let the arms fly around like they tend to do with those twists. Keep them nice and stationary and twist. Step and twist. Good. Up to the corner, twist, step and twist. Very good."
