"Let's add a little folkloric styling to our Egyptian walk. We're going to add our Saiidi Arms. So we're going to take our left hand and put it palm down just under our hip. This is not of the waist. This is not the top of your hip line, it's right below, close to where the crease of your leg would be. So, and the elbows pointing out, don't let the elbow come in, good, palm nice and straight towards the floor. And the other arm's going to come up, with your thumb by your ear, pinkie pointing up and again, the elbow needs to be back here. Good. So we're going to step on the right foot, place the left foot, make sure you put pressure on the ball of that foot and both knees are bent. And then from here, lift this hip. Now notice I'm not lifting the hand with the hip. I'm letting the hip lift by itself and dropping it back down. That creates a contrast here. So we're not all moving up and down, but we're showing exactly what's moving. So as we switch, left foot comes down, switch the arms, right foot comes up, put pressure on the ball of that foot. Hand comes down again, not at the hip line, just below. Hand at the ear, elbow back, and lift and drop and down. Don't let that hand come off with it. And switch, step, and up and down with the hip. And switch, and step, and up and down with the hip. Very nice."
