"We're going to add a little variation to our traveling Egyptian walk. What we're going to add is a little bit of a twist. Now it doesn't look very complicated but as you twist you want to make sure that your upper body stays facing your audience or your mirror, wherever you’re practicing. So we'll start with our weight on our right foot but we're going to angle that foot out just slightly. Not a full 45 and certainly not all the way sideways it's just a slight angle. If we bring the left foot here to meet it and bend the knees and then bring the chest back forward you get a nice line in the body. Very nice it's often the very slimming and provides more three dimensional interest. O.k. hands are forward so we're going to be step lift. Now it's very important to try this in front of a mirror so you can make sure your shoulders stay forward. It's very easy to start doing this. This is not the move, this could be a variation of the move but it's not the move. We're just twisting the lower body slightly to present our audience with our working hip step. Hip. Step. Hip. Let's try it together. Step. Hip. So shoulders stay square walking forward and step. Hip. Feet come together knees line up same direction. Step. You don't want your knees going out here right? Step. Knees together lift. Step. Lift. Forward step. Lift. Step. Lift. Step. Lift. Slight angle very good. Try it in the mirror it looks more complicated. It looks very easy but it's actually it takes a lot of concentration to keep those shoulders forward."
