"Let's try the Hip Drop Release, drilling it and get it so it's nice and smooth and it's natural on each side. So let's first start by having your feet slightly apart, your weighted leg make sure that knee stays bent, otherwise your hip won't be able to move. Have your front foot in the showgirl foot position. That big toe is pressed into the floor, the ankle's in, the heel's lifted up way behind. The knee is pointing forward or slightly in. Make sure your belly button's pulled in and your chest is lifted so you have a really nice line here. Your weight is right over your feet. Now let's start with our drop; drop, drop, drop. Now every other one we're going to, when the hip goes down, the foot is going to release and go out. So down, release, down, release. So the hip stays down, this stays constant. This is going down each time and make sure that the foot stays pointing forward. Don't let it curve out like that. You want to keep it nice and pretty. A little faster. Good. Make sure that belly button's pulled in. Other side. Down, release; down, release. And faster. Down, release; down, release; down, release; down, release. Practice that in the mirror, make sure it looks just right."
