Let's try the folkloric shoulder drop and we're going to do it with a rocking motion forward and back. Since it's a folkloric move, it's very earthy and you want to be very natural as you do it. The accent is going to be down, almost like your stuck in the mud and you don't want to come up, you're just too tired and you just uhh. You just want it to be coming up and dropping. Okay. So let's first start with just the shoulders. Let's make sure our feet slightly apart, pull your belly button in, the knees are soft, lift that chest. So we're going to lift our shoulders and let them fall. Lift and fall. Lift and fall. So it's going to be a lot heavier on the down. So it's going to go up, down, down, down, down. Good. So just keep it nice and relaxed. Try not to do it with a whole lot. Don't be like, moving it so that it's straight up, push it down straight. You want to be very relaxed. And a little faster. Drop, drop, drop, drop. So you don't want, when you speed up, you want the movement to be a little bit smaller. So you're not exaggerating too much. Now with the rock part, we're going to bring the foot forward and back. Now as we do this, we're going to do a little down up down, down up down. The heels are going to lift up ever so lightly. Down up down, down up down, down up down, down up down. Good. Keep those knees soft so you're absorbing the motion. Now add the shoulders. As the heels go down, the shoulders are going to go down. Keep those hands nice and still. Practice this on both sides and look in the mirror and see how natural you look as you do it.
