"I'd like to show you how to train your dog, how to calm down once you have been playing or getting excited and this is great training for a puppy or a dog. It is like green light, red light. You get her excited playing and then when she stops, let me get her going. She is so well behaved and tired that she won't do it. What you are going to do is you are going to stop and stand up straight and remove eye contact from the dog. As soon as she sits or any other behavior like for example laying down then you start moving and playing a game again. This shows her how to calm herself and to start and then to start up so it is kind of like time out for an active dog. It is a great way to train them from not getting too excited, not getting too mouthy and to be able to calm themselves down when necessary. So red light, green light and you should be able to keep your dog nice and calm."
