"When we're working with our dog, many times our trainers will say, "go home, work twenty minutes a day. And practice with your dog". As we know, any time that you're at. And any more into your day can be very stressful and hard to accomplish. So when you are working with your dog. Incorporate it, into everyday activity. If you're at the door, make sure the dog sits. Looks up at you and then you o.k. him out the door. When you're going for a walk, have him do a stay at the corner. Or wait at the corner. Practice your sits, return, walk back up. Have him come to you. And incorporate those types things. As you're working with your dog. I'll go, sit and watch TV. Maybe have my dog come. And then do a sit or a down. And stay there for the length of a commercial. So it doesn't have to be time set aside. To work with your dog. You want to incorporate it into your everyday living. It's more unlikely to happen. And your dog will definitely start to show the results of all that training. And make sure that all your children and very other person in the family are practicing right along with you."
