We're going to try the folkloric hip drop release. This is a movement that's the accent is going to be on the down, so we're, it's basically a hip down that we're doing here. So make sure that one, your weighted leg is bent, so that your hip can move. The other leg has the toe pressed into the floor and the ankle's in and the heel's up in our nice showgirl foot position. Make sure that the knee is pointing either forward or in slightly so you have a really nice line. So on the down, every other one we're going to, I'll do it really slow here. We're going to release the foot. So as the hip, the reason the foot comes out is because the hip is dropped down. So if you just let the leg straighten it'll come out on its own. Don't lift the leg otherwise it'll look forced and it won't look natural. The folkloric movements need to look natural. So, you want to drop it, release it. And drop, release. Drop, release. Drop, release. And practice this on both sides. Make sure you're pulling your belly button in and your chest is lifted. You want to have your weight right over feet, centered in between your two feet. And just let it release. And make sure the foot just slides over the floor and doesn't come out very high. So practice this in the mirror and make sure you're also not bumping up and down.
