Lets practice drilling our shimmy. Now a real important thing to remember with the shimmy is that you can always count the movement of the hip with the music and the movement of the body. So it always should be something you can count nice and evenly with the music. So we are going to start with just nice and slow, we are going to bend and straighten each side and pull the hip up into the rib cage. And then we're going to go to a medium speed and then into a full shimmy and then back to slow. So this is how you can drill it so you get a really nice clean shimmy. One, two, three, four, five, six, double time. And one, two, three, four, five, six, seven faster. Shimmy, two, three, four, five back to slow. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One and two and three and four and five and six and seven and eight and shimmy. Make sure your belly button is pulled in and your chest is lifted and slow. Two, three, four, five, six, seven, faster. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and shimmy. Two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Practice this in a mirror.
