"Let's learn how to do a three quarter shimmy with a twist. And it's got an accent on the down as well. So we're going to first start with the hip coming down and the weight going on to that foot. So we're going to bring it up and over. Out up on the other side, over and down. Out up over down. Out down. So as you do this, your feet are going tend to be a little bit pigeon toed. So you're going to feel that pressure on the inside of your foot because of this lift in the hip and the twist forward. So you are going to try to keep them facing front and keep all the action here in the hips. Make sure the shoulders aren't coming with it, so that you lose all your nice clean motion in here. It's a little bit easier to travel with it. But you can do it in place too. Down out up and down out, good. Bring it up and over. Good. Now practice this in the mirror, make sure your feet aren't getting all pigeon toed."
