Belly Dancing Choo Choo Shimmy: Arm Undulations

"Let's add some Arm Undulations to our Choo Choo. With the arm undulation if you remember, the arm is going to go straight out and we're going to generate our motion starting with the shoulder going toward the palm. So everything is going to follow from here out of your body and the hands going to kind of stay in the same place in space. And we're going to add the other arm to it. So we're going to have this nice floating arm kind of look, while the bottom part of our body is moving really fast. So let's get our choo choo going. We're going to be shifting our weight, right and left, pulling our hip up toward our rib cage, make sure that belly button's pulled in and your chest is lifted. And we're going to add the arm movement right here on top of it. Now let's speed up the choo choo. So you want the arms nice and slow, and the choo choo's nice and fast. So you have a really nice contrast there. This is something you can travel with or if you have two pieces of music, that have some nice instruments that are doing different things, you can get both of them going at the same time. Be sure to practice this in the mirror and make sure that all your body parts are moving nice and evenly and that you're staying nice and lifted."
