Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for photo editing today. It is a program that allows the user to be very hands on with images and manipulate the characteristics of the picture in whatever way they feel is suitable. It gives the user the ability to add specific features only available through the program to their images. Photoshop is also now being used to create images from scratch at a design level. The impact of this is that anyone with a computer is now able to design and create as they see fit. It is no longer reserved to the established and wealthy designers. In this free video series, let a photoshop expert instruct you on how to create a glitter graphic. Our expert, Robert Segundo, show you how to get started by outlining a design. He then shows you how to add color with the fill in function and creating a 3-D effect. Learn about fade effects, adding even more layers and finally inserting animation to complete a project. Tap into the creative streak with help from our expert.
"Now I'm going to show you how to do an animated glitter graphic. If you look at our screen here, you can see I have chosen a brand new selection here, with a nice, light background. And what I'm going to do here, is I'm just going to, I'm just going to make a heart and the quickest way to do this, is we're going to use our quick mask tools here, hold down shift. Over here, and do the same thing. Shift. Cool. Now what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and switch out to our square tool here. We're going to do this...a bottom to that.... switch back to our elliptical tool, hold down my shift key and then hold down my alt, here we go...like that, I'm just going to do that. There we go. Hold it down like so, the same thing over here, just bring it down....there. All right, so, that's good enough, we'll leave it at that, and we'll continue this on the next part."
