"This activity is called "Sound no Sound". This game is a teacher made activity. I have made them before with the plastic eggs and you'll see that these are just plastic boxes and some of them have items in them and some do not. "Sound no sound is just written on pieces of paper. When you are demonstrating the activity to the children you say "Sound" (holding up the paper that says the word sound) and then say "No sound" (holding up the piece of paper that says no sound). And then place both pieces of paper before you so the children can clearly see the words. Picking up a box and shake it, shake your head for no sound and say "No sound"(the box is empty and did not make a noise when it was shaken) and then put it next to the piece of paper that says no sound. Pick up another box shake it and and shake your head and say "No sound" because the box did not make a sound when it was shaken. Pick up another box and shake it, nod your head and say "Sound" because this box had something in it and made a sound when it was shaken. Pick up another box and shake it and again nod your head and say "Sound" because this box made a sound when it was shaken. Repeat with the remaining boxed until you have gone through all the boxes. Now I'm going to put he boxes back in the basket so it will be ready for my friends. No sound, sound."
