Hi my name is Jordan Dahl we're talking about intermediate floor gymnastics. And the last thing I wanted to talk about was putting your combinations together. Really getting creative and coming up with your own passes. Something you want to do as you start doing this is remembering your mindset. Organizing it, and knowing what you're going to do before you do it. But something just as important can be knowing what skills look better together than others. You can stay creative, but if it's going to look sloppy and not very well put together, you might want to kind of put that idea aside. And going along with that don't get frustrated with yourself if the pass you thought up of doesn't look as tight and as polished as you would like it to at first. An example of a tumbling pass that might not look too well putting it all together could be something like, round off back handspring trying to go the opposite way right out of it into a front handspring, and then flipping the other way. You want to make sure that you're keeping the direction of your pass really consistent. An example of something that would look good together, that has some nice variation would be, starting off with a front tuck, opening up into a round off, moving backwards into as many back handsprings as you feel comfortable with, ending with a tuck. That whole thing, you're moving in the same direction, the flow of the tumbling pass stays the same.
