"Off season training for football: superman's. So we're going to superset this exercise with the oblique crunches on a stability ball, and we're going to do three sets of this for fifteen as well. Superman's, as Jones is going to demonstrate, we're just going to lie flat on the ground and we're going to just reach forward with our arms and reach out as far as we can with our legs. And at the same time, we're just trying to lift the arms and legs and the whole entire body up off the floor as high as we can. We're looking for full extension in the hips and the back, trying to get up as high as you can, using this to help reinforce good strength in the lower back for stability, that will then help with strength and power through all the other exercises that we did, and also give you more safety for yourself while on the field by protecting your core a lot more. So, we're looking to protect the core with that and that's superman's. And that's it for our segment for functional strength training for football."
