"Off season training for football, suitcase dead lifts alternating. So we're going to know do our first exercise in the realm of being more functional for football. Jonsey has two kettle balls which can be substituted with dumbbells if you don't have kettle balls available. What he's going to do is he's going to do a dead lift, he's going to go down, pick one up and stand up. He's going to try to look at the horizon the whole time as he's coming up and then back down. Again work to push the hips back and then push the hips forward as you are exploding up, driving through your heels. And we want you to alternate from side to side because it will replicate the action you will have on the football field. Such as in blocking or driving through a block or trying to fight off something like that. And what we want to do with this is that we want to do ten per side and then three sets of these. Ok Jonsey right now is doing a space in between each one, there is another version where you can go down and you can automatically switch into the other kettle ball, just like he is doing now. Good, first start without, or start with a space in between then work to alternating directly into it. So looking from another angle, I want to also mention here about taking the pause out so that Jonsey is working straight down, he's going to pick one up, he's going to come down switch to the other side. First start with the dead lift pause where you are coming up without the weight before progressing to that next step of working from one weight to the other weight and then working into both weights at the same time."
