"This next clip is going to be about how you should prepare your body for before you sing. You want to make sure that when you're singing, you have very good posture. And your body has to be in certain positions so that you can be able to sing your best. You want to make sure that you're standing up very straight. The best way to find out how straight you're standing up, you can stand up against a wall. That way you can make sure that everything is perfectly aligned. Make sure your head is not back at all or forward at all. It needs to be perfectly straight up. That way your vocal chords won't be stretched or smushed together. That way they can vibrate the best. You'll sound the best. It's just better that way. Also you want to make sure that your throat is very open. For example, it's the way you feel when you're yawning. If you can see how far down my throat comes when I'm getting ready to sing. There's a little thing you can do, if you suction the top of your tongue to the top of your throat, you get a very big open space. It's the way you should feel when you're yawning. Actually, if you do yawn when you do that, you know you have enough space. That way you can get enough air flow in, and you can keep the air flowing out when you want to sing. You want to make sure that you shouldn't be sitting at all when you're singing. It's best if you can stand up at all times and that's about it."
