"On of the most convenient tools that a firefighter can carry is the simple screwdriver. Now the screwdriver can be carried in a tool pouch or simply in a bunker pant pocket or coat pocket. I've chosen the type of screwdriver that's basically a multi purpose screwdriver. It has a removable tip, so we can go with the Phillips head or the straight type of screwdriver by simply turning the bit around and placing it in the screwdriver. The screwdriver that's multi purpose also has a quarter inch nut driver which is very handy to remove covers off of electrical panels or air conditioning units when there is a problem with motors without having to go back to the truck. This tool can also be turned around where it has a bit on both ends. This end of the handle is also a tool that can be used to take out hex headed screws or nuts off of bolts. Very handy tool to have is the screwdriver, so I don't have to carry multiple screwdrivers like the straight and the Phillips head screwdriver. I've chosen the multi type screwdriver that can be carried and changed into whatever type of tool I need it to be for that purpose. Avoids having to go back to the truck to get one. Screwdriver."
