"So what's the best way to sweeten your tea? You like your tea sweet and you're using really rock sugar or granulated sugar and sorts that looks like this. This doesn't melt in cold water. So, it's always recommended to melt down your ice before you put in the ice, I mean melt down your sugar before you put it in the ice. How do you do that? I always keep a stash of already melted sugar in my refrigerator so whenever I want to enjoy a little bit of sweetness I just pour it into my cup of iced tea and I'm ready to go. But if you like your tea already sweetened, what I recommend is brewing the hot brew, not the cold brew, brewing the hot brew meaning you put your hot water, your loose tea and you make it concentrate instead of pouring it into a cup of iced tea, you pour it into a cup of tea that's empty. You would put your sugar at the bottom of your teacup and then you pour your hot water into the cup using that hot water to melt down the sugar. At that point, you have a concentrated amount of tea and your sugar already melted in that tea then you add the ice. Your tea is already sweetened you don't have to worry about keep stirring it. Because I see people stirring it like crazy but the tea does not melt down the sugar."
