"In this segment we're going to be talking about some common mistakes that I see happening when people are attempting the flat ground three sixty. The biggest thing that I would say is that a lot of people are afraid to turn their back to where they're going. A lot of people are afraid to follow through. Once you initiate, don't be afraid to go blind. If you don't go blind you're not going to do the full three sixty so go ahead and keep turning, because your landing, the way you're going will come back into view. It will just take a second as you're initiating it. The second mistake I see a lot of people doing is you've got to still be aware of where your edges are. You can still catch an edge in scorpion even though you want to keep your base flat. Remember, when you are keeping your base flat, if it's completely flat, it will gather snow in front, which will cause you to scorpion forward. So as you are doing your flat ground three sixties, just be aware of changing your edges from heel to toe as you're spinning around. And that's basically some mistakes that I see with flat ground three sixties. Just stay away from those and you'll be fine."
