"So how do you buy bagged teas? There are many quality of bagged teas. What I always encourage people is to buy loose, and then buy empty tea bags that you put in, because you hold the control of how much tea to put in your bag, and what type of tea. And if you feel like blending teas, you can. All you need is an empty tea bag, like this, and you put your loose leaf tea in. But, if you don't want it, you want to skip that step, and go straight to the tea already in the bag, there are many companies out there. I encourage you to find a tea company that offers organic, and fair trade certified. These teas, I have a few here, Numi is a respectable company, and Meeka also makes a good...and also Choice Tea. These tea companies use real ingredients and they don't pulverize their tea leaves just like Lipton has right here, where it becomes powderized, and in very, very small particles. You can still see the tea leaves, you can still look at the ingredients to make sure that when you look at the packaging, that these ingredients are what the packaging is called for. Whereas the Lipton, you can't tell the difference between one dot versus the other dot. The other thing is to also look at the...the style of tea bags. There are so many styles of tea bags out there. There are pyramid shapes, there are box shapes. To look and see which one gives the most room for the tea to interact with the water. The one with the most room will provide the better cup."
