"Hi welcome back my name is Megan Moe and today I'm teaching you some tips, giving you some suggestions and some pointers on how you can keep yourself clean safe and germ free on your next visit to the gym. Now one area of the gym that you need to be wary of is the fitness accessories if you choose to use them. Now since you are going to be touching many of these with your bare hands such as this, a pilates ring. It does have handles so you are going to be making direct contact with it, you want to be sure that when you do touch it, that it's either been sanitized before hand or if you are more comfortable or if you are going to be using more then one piece of equipment, it might be more convenient for you to wear a pair of gloves. Just some cheap disposal gloves such as these, you just put them on before you touch anything and it creates a barrier between your skin and the article. And of course you can always sanitize it too, to be extra sure. And the same thing goes if you want to use something like the stability band, like this one. Just go ahead and put a glove on or you can sanitize the handle before you use it, and if you do that, please make sure to sanitize it afterwards again. And just like that you can pull it up and it creates a barrier between your skin and the handle and it protects you from any bacteria that might be there. And if you do choose to sanitize it, something that you are going to want to do is take your ethanol and again this has to sit for about a minute. So you are just going to spray this right on here and let that sit on anywhere that your hand is going to touch it. And you can just set this aside and wait for that one for a minute or two and the same for any stability band or if it's more convenient you can use an anti bacterial wipe. It doesn't take quite as long and it might be a little bit less messy because you are not going to get any over spray and you can just throw it away when you are done. So these are also a very good option. And that goes for any gym accessories, you just want to let it sit with ethanol and that's about all you need to take care of with those. So I'll give you some more tips when we come back."
