    Video Transcript

"What I'll be performing here is the dumbbell calf raises. And, it's best to use a two by four or any object that you could put with a flat surface under your feet. What it'll help you out with, is get a better stretch on your calves. To build good calves, you want to get a good flex on top and then a real good stretch on the bottom. And, what you want to do is get on top of your tippy toes flex your calves as hard as possible and then bring them down slowly. Get a good stretch and continue with that motion back to tippy toes. Instead of using the barbell, we're using the dumbbell for this exercise. You want to continue this for about fifteen or twenty reps if the barbells or the dumbbells you are using are light. If they're heavy, you want to do low reps about six to eight. And, just make sure you concentrate on the flex on top and the stretch on the bottom. And, that's how you do your dumbbell calf raises."
