Ok, we're back to our dome. As with everything on the wheel, you do want to give it an undercut. That's always important. And then, I've made a little template for the door for the toad to get in. And I just lay it right up against the clay. And, this is just a ball tipped metal tool. I'm just making the shape of the door, so that I know where to cut. And then I'm going to take my Exacto blade and go along the line. And there's the door for the toad. I'm also going to decorate this. So, I have found an image that I liked, I printed it out. Butterfly. I'm just going to lay that directly on the clay again, and through the paper I'm going to use this ball tipped tool and just press the important parts of the outline that I want to want to use into the clay. And now I have a template for where I'm going to do my slip trailing.
