"One of the best ways to learn how to do any trick on a quarter pipe or a mini-ramp, is first to find a spot that doesn't have any coping on it. The coping sometimes can be the hardest thing to get away from, or to get over when you're coming out of certain tricks. And especially for the fakie ollie disaster, this is especially true. Because as you're coming back in, sometimes your feet won't be ready and you'll hit the coping, or where the coping would be here, and lock up and fall in. So, it'll be good if you can find a quarter pipe like this concrete one that I'm on right now, where you can come up and hit it and actually get to leave it just a tiny bit and get the motion down, and then be able to roll in, no problem and not have any coping to worry about. What's different on this spot is that I won't have to put my front foot on the front nose and specifically pick up to clear coping. What you'll be able to do, is come up fakie, pop the trick, land, and in any foot position that you're in, you'll be able to roll back in, since there's no coping. So, if you can find a spot to learn your tricks on like this one, it'll definitely help in the learning process. And this is just one way that it'll help to learn to do fakie ollie disasters."
