"Ok the next stage is the involvement stage. And the involvement stage is kind of what I call the brain stage. In the contact stage it was everything was much more about sensory experience, attractiveness, physicality, this is what I see. Now in the involvement stage this is where you start finding out information. Who are you, where did you come from, what do you like to do, what kind of music do you listen to? This is where we begin to establish whether or not we want to have and develop a relationship on a deeper level then just physical attraction or physical appearance. This is where we start to find out what do we have in common? What do we have that's similar in interest? And I guess on some levels this is where the relationship starts to intensify a little bit. We start knowing a lot more information about each other and we build on that. This is where trust might start coming in. I'm knowing you better, I'm starting to trust you. I know you better, I want to spend more time with you. I know you better therefore I like you better or sometimes I know you better therefore I don't like you as much. And again this is not just about romantic relationships, this is about friends, neighbors, teachers so forth and so on. So now we're going to get involved and we are going to file that information away in a file beyond physicality. This is what we have in common, this is what I like about this person."
