"I was in Stratford, Ontario. A place that I'd been to before. I was actually with my guitarist. This is one of his favorite places in the world. And we decided that well we were going to ask some people in the area if there was a place we could stay just like we normally do. We've stayed with this one lady Jackie Misner before and she was so cool to us. And so anyway we called her up and said hey Jackie we're coming into Stratford, we're going to play there. Would it be cool if we stayed with you? And she's like, oh well you know my dad just passed away. And she had all these family members that just died and stuff. And she was just feeling really down and we were like, oh, we're so sorry, hey we can find another place. And she said, no, no, no I want you to stay with me. When you guys come to my house you bring peace to my house and it would be so great for me if you could stay with me this time. I was floored. I totally didn't expect that. Now she was telling me that I'd done something good for her but I felt like she just honored me more than anybody could have honored me in the whole world. It was absolutely amazing. We stayed with her and we did have this great time. We had a great show and after the show she kind of disappeared for awhile. And we saw her the next day when we woke up and she said you know after the show I went out. Because of your guys show I was able to finally release all those emotions that I had pent up and I let them out. Thank you guys so much. You have to be part of that. What an amazing thing when people have the opportunity to give to you just as much as you have the opportunity to give to them when you're on stage. If you will take your performance beyond just being on a stage and make it part of your lifestyle, man, you're going to not only impact people greatly. You're going to have friends for life."
