"And again, it's katate-dori kagamigaeshi. Kagami is an old fashioned mirror. It's like a piece of metal that had been polished. So, you'd reach to pick it up, turn it over, look at it and then put it back down. All the technique starts with palms down to palms up to palms down again. So, it's just like picking up the mirror. Kagamigaeshi. Katate-dori kagamigaeshi. I'm going to step off line, grab, cover and then cut down. Let's go this way. So, as we attack, we step off line, get that foot in front, make sure that we are protected from kicks. This comes over the top. We gently cut down. OK? That's one version. That's more of the amote.
