Now I'm going to show you how you can add nail holes if you want to your frame. They give it a little bit of extra texture and if you remember right, let me get this one frame to show you, we had this one that had 3 nail holes, and I put them in the order of like there might have been a hinge there at one time and somebody removed it, so they're kind of int shape of the way a hinge would be. When you have a wider frame you can do this sort of thing. We have a little bit narrower frame but I want to show you how to do a nail hole in case you decide you want to do that so. Like I said you take your medium nail and you hammer. And let's see where would be a good place to put one. I thin maybe over here. So we will just pound this in. Doesn't have to be in very far. It just has to make the hole. Because I'm going to show you a little trick about that, too. Okay, now if we want one more. Let's see, I have an idea. Let's put two of them here. Like maybe there was a plaque on the frame at one time that was removed. I'm going to hold this up so I can pound it straight in hopefully. Curved frames are a little harder to do. And there we are. And now I'm going to show you a little trick to make those see a little bit older and like they've been there a long time. I squeezed a little dark brown paint out and I just stuck my nail in it and now I'm going to stick it in the hole like that. What it does is it colors that light wood inside the hole and I just added a little more paint to put in my other nail hole and it's okay to kind of do this once you've done that. Our wash will help with that. And now I'm ready to show you how to put an antique wash over it.
