"This next exercise is called the chest fly. Again we're working the major pectorals. However, a little different from doing the pressing motions, the cable flies are going to work more on shaping the muscle rather than building size. Ok, Kendra why don't you demonstrate this for us. Sure. Ok. Again exhaling on a pushing motion, keeping your muscles engaged for the full range of motion. Proper breathing and form is very important during these movements. Proper range of motion in the form of this exercise is very important. You bring the arms back and not come past your shoulders as Kendra's demonstrating right now. Some people are able to take the form back a little bit deeper than others. Proper form and technique with this exercise it's good to remember when you bring your arms back do not go past your shoulders. Some people have a real better range of motion if you do this properly without having any shoulder in tension. Again, keeping your muscles engaged for the full range of motion is very important to avoid injury."
