"Okay, we want to talk now about questions that you want to ask yourself, alright? Some of the things that you want to ask yourself before you decide whether to take this job or not, are these my kind of people? If you're a very laid back person, is this a very structured and uptight environment? You're going to be with these people at least forty hours a week, so you might want to think about it, are they your kind of peeps or not? Can I do this work? And you have to think of that in terms of qualifications versus requirements, am I qualified to do it, as well as, can I show up and do this everyday? It's a 9 to 5 job and you won't have a window in your office, or you have to travel, or whatever it is, can you do this work? Will you find the work enjoyable, will you enjoy it, will it be an enjoying thing to do to go to work, you're going to be there a lot. Challenging, are you going to be challenged or are you going to be bored? Is it going to be the ho hum, mundane, doing the same thing everyday for the rest of your life? Really important things to consider, to ask yourself. And challenging relates right directly to career path. Is there a career path with this company in this position that will lead me to my long-term goals? And some of these will be questions that you have asked your interviewer, and you've gotten your answers, and now you just need to sit down and reflect and ask these questions to yourself, to make sure it works, to make sure that it's the right job for you."
