"This is Robert Stewart, with hill13.com. Now we've talked about individual base basic drills that you can do, and that will sharpen your skills on the field. Now we're going to talk about basic tactical concepts that you need to understand, and that your individual drills will help you accomplish. Some of the subjects we're going to cover now are going to be shooting lanes, covering fire, flanking and the like, and what you do with these skills, and how you use them on the field is your key to overall winning and success. Now this, the first one, shooting drill, shooting lanes, or fields of fire; both terms mean the same thing, is the directions and the angles that you can put paint on the opposing team. The number of shooting lanes that you establish on the field when you meet the opposing force is critical to controlling what the opposing team can do, and the movements that they can make.
