"Next up we're going to talk about a chorus pedal. The concept behind a chorus pedal is layering several notes on top of the note you're playing, which are very, very slightly out of tune to the note you are playing. The idea is like if you had a large orchestra of strings. Not every string player who is playing that note is going to be perfectly the same as the person next to him. It will be just very, very close or a chorus of singers for example. So, that's what this pedal does. It layers what you would call cents. A cent is a very small difference in frequency. So, if you have this note here. See that's an E note and a very, very slight difference of that note, that's not quite and F. Somewhere very to the E and layer them on top of each other you get this kind of sound, which here's the note without the chorus and with the chorus. It sort of adds some color to it and a little bit more fullness. Somewhat like the tremolo, but in this case it doesn't have the pulsating action. Once again without it and with it."
